In keeping with our BAS Mission, the Bayport Aerodrome Society operates a living museum at the Bayport Aerodrome , the last surviving grass airstrip on Long Island. We display numerous aviation artifacts related to our history dating back to just after WW II. We open our hangars to show our vintage aircraft to the public every Sunday from April to November from 10 AM to 4 PM. Weather permitting, members fly their antique aircraft especially on open hangar days. There is always something new and exciting going on at the Bayport Aerodrome. Come visit us!
