Come Fly with Us

With the Bayport Aerodrome Society,  there are numerous opportunities to fly in vintage aircraft. Many of our members are Certified Flying Instructors who regularly fly their aircraft. During our annual Neighborhood Appreciation Picnic, we raffle off vintage airplane rides. South End Aviation is based at Bayport Aerodrome and offers Stearman biplane rides for hire as well as tailwheel instruction. As part of our Youth Education Program high school and college students will experience the thrill of their first flight. Some of our members have Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization (IA) certificates and are qualified to perform maintenance on light aircraft.
